    Salt Lake International Driving School is a low cost, owner-operated Utah Driver License Division approved school. Because of our low overhead cost, our school is able to offer customized driver education program at a cost that you can afford, with flexible payment options thus passing all the savings to you. Salt Lake International Driving School guarantees to beat any published rate in any of the other division approved driver training schools.

    Our school exists to serve the under-served, whether you are new to the State and need help navigating the challenging Utah roadways, a migrant with no-voice driver experience or a high school senior who just needs a private driver education program, we have a plan to suit your needs. Salt Lake International Driving School is open seven days a week to serve your busy lifestyle.

    Salt Lake International Driving School provides driver education instruction in multiple languages. With our customer focused approach, we will customize your training experience to suit your individual driving ability. There is no one size that fits all in drivers ed, therefore our lesson plans are customer centered, meaning we will only go as fast as you are able to retain safe driving habits to help you conquer the roadway challenges you will face as a new driver in Utah.

    With our customer centered, customer focused mindset, we will allow you to schedule your training sessions on your own terms as long as the program is completed within 12-months of purchase.

    Daud Eftin

    Born in a small village in the lower juba of Somalia and raised in a deserted Kenyan refugee camp for over a decade, Daud has faced many uncertainties in life. Lessons learned from growing up in those uncertainties in a refugee camp to integrating and adopting to a new life, new culture in the United states all shaped the culture and practices in place at the Salt Lake International Driving Schools. Utah’s only refugee focused; customer serviced oriented drivers ed program.

    Academically, Daud graduated from a local Utah high school, went on to study criminal justice undergraduate degree at Eagle Gate College in Murray, Utah, then on to graduate school for a master’s degree in justice degree at Southern New Hampshire University (2014), and most recently in 2020 at Southern Utah university where he graduated with a master’s Degree in Public Administration.

    With over 15 years in public service careers ranging from civilian corrections employee to state level police officer most recently at the Utah Highway Patrol, Daud has some real-life experiences to share which aid him in customizing each drivers learning experience to fit their life-style while delivering quality instruction at the lowest cost in town.

    After having worked several years as a drivers ed instructor at one of Utah’s elite driving school, and working recently with highway patrol assigned to salt Lake County in the patrol division, and having witnessed some of the horror stories unsafe drivers bring to Utah roadways to add onto the weather and other traffic related challenges already existing, Daud has opened the first ever customer centered drivers education program that fosters safe-driver training environment that only goes at the student’s pace in mastering the safe driving skills needed.
